About the App
Divya Prabhandham is a reader and audio player for the Naalayira Divyaprabandham, the sacred collection of 4,000 Tamil verses composed by the twelve Alvars in praise of Lord Vishnu. The app exists to make this body of devotional literature easy to read, understand, and listen to on a modern phone or tablet — whether you're a longtime reader following your daily recitation, or someone encountering the verses for the first time.
The app is designed to work fully offline, bundling the core text, translations, and scripts so you can read anytime, anywhere, without an internet connection. Bookmarks and reading progress are saved automatically, so you can always pick up where you left off, and optional audio playback lets you listen to pasurams alongside the text.
